Dreams I

I create from silence and attentiveness. I’m drawn to simplicity—not the accidental kind, but the deliberate kind, patiently refined. I’m interested in the moments in between: when light softens, the air slows, and thoughts stop rushing. In my work, I look for balance between intuition and discipline, between gesture and restraint.

I work consistently, layer by layer, letting time do part of the work for me. What matters to me is that my painting doesn’t impose an interpretation, but invites you to pause—to look calmly, without urgency. If, even for a moment, you feel there is space in it for you, then we’ve met exactly where I hoped we would.
